I am going to start pilates in the mornings before work?

I’m pretty flexible but I don’t want to be sore throughout the day, should I wait until after work? Also, should I only work out a certain amount of time and then increase the increments weekly, daily?

Talk to a qualified instructor about this. Pilates is apowerful stuff, and you could do yourself serious harm.
Build up slowly.

You probably won’t feel sore during the day after your first workout. You’ll be much more likely to wake up the next day feeling sore.

The best time to work out is in the morning. This will help your metabolism. It will prepare your body for the day.
Your idea of increasing your sessions is also a good idea. You are the only one who knows your body. Monitor your heart rate and adjust appropriately.
Also, as one of the other posters suggested, you might want to talk to a personal trainer as well to give you ideas on increasing your sessions.
If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

I do twenty minutes of pilates five days a week about an hour after I get off of work. I don’t think there really would be any problem doing it before work as long as you have time to shower. I tend to break a sweat. You don’t get too sore and it is a style of excersice that may take longer for results but you can bet that there will be results. I do think the key is consistency and not amount of time spent doing it.
